Installation & Wall Compatibility

INSTALLATION

Please note: Our Multifunctional Magnetic Arch Decals must be installed on a flat and sturdy surface. Do not install on uneven or damaged surfaces. Avoid using in humid areas of the home or in direct sunlight.

If your walls have been freshly painted we recommend waiting 30 days before putting up your decal.​

  1.  Ensure surface is clean. You can clean your wall by wiping with a dry cloth to remove dust, if you need to clean your wall with a damp cloth ensure you wait 24 hours to completely dry prior to installing.
  2. Peel part of the plastic backing from the corner and place the adhesive to your desired area.
  3. Slowly peel away the rest of the plastic backing and smooth the decal as you go, remove any air bubbles. 
  4. Once applied with your hands or a dry cloth rub over the decal to ensure the adhesive is firmly on the wall.

WALL COMPATIBILITY

Our decals work best with clean and smooth painted walls, smooth wood, glass, doors and melamine.

Some paints that repel stains and are anti stick may not work with our wall decals.

We can not guarantee: 

  • Our decal will remain intact on your surface.
  • The adhesive will not remain on your surface upon removal.
  • Paint will not be damaged upon removal.
Mae and Rae Kids will not be liable for any damage caused to walls during the application or removal of your decal.
